A new addition to our menu! The Greek side of the 'Family' is represented by our Dolmas dish. A vegetarian's delight, this dish is made of rice stuffed grape leaves, served with a slice of tomato, topped with tzatziki sauce, Feta cheese sprinkles and a few oil cured olives.

I grew up with variations on this dish, the Romanian variation has minced meat mixed in with the rice. The usual wrap is either the grape leaf or the sweet cabbage.

The dish we serve at The Coffee Buzz though, has no meat, completely vegetarian, if we don't take in consideration the dairy part found in the Tzatziki sauce.

Summer (read heat) is here! Can't say that we were so willing to put up with the temperatures over 90 degrees so soon. But, it is what it is and we'll try to cope with it.

Our first! The Coffee Buzz participated in its first 'Tasting Ahwatukee' experience. It was a great success and a wonderful experience as well. Our booth was visited by approximately 500 visitors, we finished the first batch of coffee in less than 30 minutes! We had to go back and grind/brew some more.

As the Holiday Season comes closer, we wanted to wish all of our customers, their immediate families and friends a

...since we took ownership of The Buzz and many things have changed indeed! A new Menu, based on Italian Deli specialties, with authentic Italian meats (such as Mortadella, Sopresatta, Prosciutto, Genoa Salame) and cheeses (Mozzarella, fresh Mozzarella, Provolone), was started in October 2008. We are seeing an increased interest in these Italian sandwiches. We are still carrying the breakfast menu from before, with a few additions such as the Buzz-Rito (breakfast burrito with eggs, cheese, bacon and a few extras as desired), Sarah's Favorite (toasted bagel with mashed avocado, sliced tomatoes, pesto and fresh basil). Breakfast is still served all day long.

We added a Saturday morning musical event, having one of Valley's premier musicians, Mr. Aaron Howard (Guitar, vocal and violin) performing live every Saturday morning from 10am to 12:30pm.

As this is a new and definitely strange experience for me and Carol, we beg your patience through the 'ordeals' of setting this thing up properly.

The Buzz  has been open since the fall of 2005 and we are the current owners and operators. We strive to provide you all with Ahwatukee's premier gathering spot, be that for a cup of coffee or tea, for art, for the free WiFi or simply for a chat with Dimitri or Carol.

Our other working friend of the Buzz is Gina, please say hi to her on Saturdays and/or Sundays.
